A School-based Traineeship with U Train is a fantastic step to realising a career path. By combining paid work and study of a nationally recognised qualification instils a great work ethic and provides the trainee with invaluable experience.
As a parent it can be daunting to navigate all the information that you need to make an informed decision. There is the Australian Qualifications Framework (AQF), training subsidies, employment incentives as well as public TAFE and private RTO’s.
The key reasons why we have AQF qualifications are to ensure national recognition and consistency as well as common understanding across Australia of what defines each qualification.
The purpose of the Certificate III qualification type is to qualify individuals who apply a broad range of knowledge and skills in varied contexts to undertake skilled work and as a pathway for further learning.
Certificate III qualifications must be designed and accredited to enable graduates to demonstrate the learning outcomes expressed as knowledge, skills and the application of knowledge and skills specified in the level 3 criteria and the Certificate III descriptor.
At U Train we target Certificate III qualifications to ensure success for the trainee. Once a trainee has a completed a Certificate II qualification it will enable the trainee to be a valued contributor to society and have a greater opportunity for employment.
